Nestle Lemon Pound Cake

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 ½ sticks (6 ounces) butter, at room temperature
  • 1 can (14 ounces) NESTLÉ® LA LECHERA® Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 yellow lemons, zest
  • ½ cup NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Evaporated Milk

Preparation

  1. Cream the butter until smooth. Add the NESTLÉ® LA LECHERA® Sweetened Condensed Milk, eggs, flour, baking powder, lemon zest, and NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Evaporated Milk, and mix until well combined.
  2. Pour the batter into a greased and floured loaf pan. Bake at 350 °F for 40 to 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool completely.
  3. For the glaze, mix the powdered sugar, water, and lemon juice. Drizzle the glaze over the loaf, let it set, and decorate with lemon slices. Serve and enjoy.
