At Tony’s, we are committed to supporting the communities we serve through our charitable giving program. We offer both monetary and in-kind donations to eligible nonprofit organizations. 

Monetary Donation Guidelines 

To be considered for a monetary donation from the Tony’s Charitable Foundation, organizations must meet the following criteria: 

• Be a registered 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization. 

• Serve communities where Tony’s Fresh Market operates. 

• Demonstrate a clear need and purpose for the requested funds. 

• Provide details on how the donation will be used to benefit the community. 

Eligible organizations can submit their request and supporting documentation through our online donation request form or send us an email to foundation@tonysfreshmarket.com 

In-kind Donation Guidelines 

In-kind donations are handled at our Tony’s Fresh Market locations. Organizations requesting product or gift card donations must meet the following criteria to qualify for a donation: 

• Be a registered nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. 

• Serve communities where Tony’s Fresh Market operates. 

• Submit a detailed request outlining the items needed and the purpose. 

In-kind donation requests are reviewed by our Community Outreach Director and fulfilled directly by our local store teams on an ongoing basis. Organizations are encouraged to reach out to their nearest Tony’s Fresh Market for more information.

Please submit your request to a Store Manager, in-Store and in person.

Excluded Donation Requests 

While we aim to support a wide range of charitable causes, the Tony’s Charitable Foundation and Tony’s Fresh Market stores are unable to fulfill certain types of donation requests. The following requests will not be considered: 

Cash Donations 
– We do not provide direct cash donations to organizations or individuals. 

Families or Individuals 
– We cannot make donations to support specific families or individuals in need. 

For-Profit Organizations 
– Donations are limited to registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations only. 

Government Agencies 
– We do not provide donations to federal, state, or local government entities. 

Organizations Without 501(c)(3) Status 
– To qualify, organizations must have a valid 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. 

Political or Religious Activities/Organizations 
– We do not sponsor or donate to political campaigns or religious institutions. 

Scholastic Scholarships 
– We do not provide funding for individual academic scholarships. 

Transportation or Travel Expenses 
– We cannot cover the costs of transportation, lodging, or travel for organizations. 

On-Site Activities and Fundraising Events 
– While we may consider in-kind donations for events, we do not sponsor or host any on-site fundraising activities.
