The 2026 Scholarship Program

Welcome to the Tony’s Charitable Foundation Scholarship Program page!

Tony’s Charitable Foundation continues its commitment to supporting the communities it serves by providing scholarship funds to students in the areas where Tony’s Fresh Market operates. In sum, 21 scholarships totaling $3,000 each will be awarded for the 2026 – 2027 academic year, and we are now accepting applications!

Recipients will be selected based on their academic qualifications, financial need, leadership attributes and commitment to serving their local community.

To apply for the 2026-27 Cardenas Markets Foundation, Tony’s Charitable Foundation, and Manos y Corazones Unidos Scholarship Program Scholarship, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Go to https://aim.applyISTS.net/HeritageGrocers
    • If you have an existing ISTS account, simply log in.
    • To create a new account, click “Don’t have an account? Register!” to create an ISTS account.  You will be prompted to validate your email address and taken to your ISTS homepage.
    • Click “Add New Application,” enter the Program Key: HeritageGrocers and click “Okay.”  You will be immediately directed to the application form.
  2. Complete all required fields, upload your required documents, and Submit your application no later than April 10th, 2026.

The Tony’s Charitable Foundation is a stand-alone 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation focused on providing scholarships to qualified students. It was founded in 2018 by the Tony’s Fresh Market supermarket chain to give back to the community.
